What are the major differences between PT and PM&R?
PT/ physiotherapists are technicians mainly non-doctor person but PM&R physicians are doctor cum leader of the whole team including OP (orthotics-prosthetics )technicians, electrotherapists, physiotherapists & many more PM&R physicians do diagnosis treatment interventions procedures like other clinical specialities !

There's an interesting article on MedicineofOmaha.blogspot.com and MedicineofOmaha.wordpress.com about the new University of Nebraska PM&R chairman’s interesting past when was hired in April to open up UNMC's new PM&R department as its founding chairman.
Epidural Steroid Injections are nothing but a scam for intervention pain management doctors to get rich. Read the package insert for Kennalog by Bristol Myers Squibb. It says NOT FOR EPIDURAL ADMINISTRATION and the very top of the package insert. No steroid has ever been, nor ever will be, approved for epidural administration by the FDA. The risks (permanent disability including death) does not justify the potential rewards (TEMPORARY pain relief for 1-3 months).
